Twilight Goers

Hey everyone who went and saw twilight already, you know who you are. Post comments on how you liked the movie compared to the book and if you thought that they did it justice.

Well, it was exactly like the book in my opinion...except everything I detested in the book was amplified in the movie! Teenage EMO to the max, Edward was cold and his attraction to Bella was strictly because he wanted to eat her (like I have been saying all along). Jacob was a pleasant surprise, the only character with ANY warmth. Seriously the scene where Bella is being taken into prom with Edward while Jacob watches I just wanted her to knock Edward down and run back to Jacob. Edward's sparkling was hardly noticable, the special effects literally made me laugh out loud at times, and I found myself BORED. I think what killed the movie was the horrible soundtrack or lack thereof, the neediness of Bella and the stalker-creepiness of Edward and the poor editing (the movie seriously lacked flow and there was no break from the depressed mood of the film...shouldn't people in love at least smile once throughout an entire film?!?) . It was totally worth the money however in laughs and being justified in my opinion of the novel :) In fact I think I will definitely see it a second time now that I am fully prepared to make fun of it.

Atleast when i obsess over somthing, it usually turns out good:D, it turns out good. When we were leaving the theatre, i was tempted to shout down the hall at the "excited and eager tenage girls" that twilight was boring and a comedy, go home! of course my counsiance had to kick in right then (and some of the logic part in my brain) and i didnt. It was pretty fun to think about though ;D.

Mary Larson and i found it hilarious! we laughed the whole way through. The characters are over the top, the lines are way over the top, special effects done in someone's garage, and the music never fit. there usually wasn't any, but whenever it started you got slightly confused as to how they picked that song...
I would strongly recommend it if you need a good laugh, but be warned, if you laugh be prepared to get glares from all the teenage girls around you.

I saw it this past weekend and I was expecting a complete flop. I was pleasantly surprised and would have to say that I actually enjoyed it. The characters were exactly how I pictured them (however I have only read the first book). I do not think that I will buy the movie or spend any money to watch it again but it was worth the $8.25. My favorite line however is the line, "You are like my own personal brand of heroine" I hope one day that someone will say that to me! ;)

Ok this is your Aunt Vicki, closet Twilight fan. I loved the movie. I am not an Edward fan but thought the actor did pretty well. Kristen Stewart as Bella grew on me also. I am looking forward to the next movie "Go Jacob", this is what I yelled out in the theater after a thirty something lady yelled go Edward ( I just couldn't help myself). Adam wanted to climb under the chair. But I think my all time favorite was James, chilling. Gotta love the bad boys.
